Mushroom is the common name given to the fruitings of some fungi of the phyla Basidiomycota and Ascomycota, belonging to the Fungi Kingdom. They have a fruit body composed of a base. These organisms reproduce sexually by the junction of hyphae. They are living beings that contain a wide variety of shapes, colors and sizes.
